AEROCIVIL reference – SGDEA No. 2026140000021797 Dear Mr. Bunker, According to your application for the acceptance of FAA STC No. SA04601CH, related to the: “Installation of a McCauley Propeller Systems 4HFR34C780/105STA-0 to -2 model propeller” Considering that “Textron Aviation Inc.” has submitted the associated technical documentation, which was reviewed and evaluated under Colombian Civil Aviation Regulations (RAC 21.515), the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL) hereby accepts the FAA Supplemental Type Certificate No.SA04601CH, dated July 28, 2023, for major alteration application on Colombian registered aeronautical products, in accordance with airworthiness limitations and conditions stated in the mentioned Supplemental Type Certificate. As substantiated by “Textron Aviation Inc.”, the following is the list of required documents that must accompany each installation on Colombian registered aeronautical products as required by RAC 43, 43.300(b): 1. LRL Aviation, LLC Installation Instructions, Document No. LRL-2105-INST-01, Rev. E, dated January 18, 2023, or later FAA approved revision or Document No. LRL- 2105-INST-02, Rev. E, dated January 18, 2023, or later FAA approved revision. 3. LRL Aviation, LLC Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, Document No. LRL-2105- AFMS, Rev. -, approved May 30, 2023, or later FAA approved revision. 4. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Document No. LRL-2105-ICA, Rev - , dated March 28, 2023, or later FAA-accepted revision. 5. Letter of authorization of use of the STC signed by the appropriated person in the STC holder organization identifying A/C tail number and S/N. Scope The aeronautical product to be altered must be listed in the respective Model List of this STC. The STC No. SA04601CH will be entered in the national index of accepted STC`s. Limitations of Acceptance This acceptance apply exclusively to the STC and its supporting technical data It does not constitute approval for the importation of the product(s) included in the STC. The installer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements set forth in RAC 21.1200 regarding the import of such product(s). Holder´s Responsibilities The company holding this STC is responsible for maintaining the STC information including all published alteration documents, up to date. This is necessary to guarantee safe operation and support the continued airworthiness of aircraft registered in Colombia that are subject to this alteration. Any major modification or change in the STC information must be reported to and documented with the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL). Validity This letter of acceptance shall remain valid only for as long as the Supplemental Type Certificate remains in effect.
