This model includes new engines, Rotax 912iSc3 Sport, a redesigned fuselage with an additional door, updated interiors featuring a redesigned central tunnel and pedestal, and an optimized cockpit layout. The new fuel-injected engines with electronic control units (ECUs) impact on several key systems of the aircraft, including the fuel and electrical systems. The MOD2006/460 extends the approved list of fuels that can be used on the P2006T aeroplane to include fuel conforming to specification IS2796:2017 This authority has reviewed all the documents provided in the major update data package identified in the references of this letter and has determined that the data provided complies with the requirements of RAC 21.156, and we therefore accept your request to update the major change on the TC acceptance letter (TECNAM. Model P2006NG aircraft). TECNAM has provided certification reports for each of the changes. These reports are listed on the table above. This letter of acceptance of the major change update (PostValidationActivity) will be entered in the national index of accepted TC and is an integral part of the original acceptance letter (reference 3). Any person importing the type of aircraft as described here must show compliance with the requirements of RAC21.856(c)(2), to obtain a valid standard airworthiness certificate, and must as well comply with any other current legal requirements applicable to the import of such aircraft. The validity of this letter of acceptance of the major change update expires when the Type Certificate approval ceases to exist. If at any point of time, AEROCIVIL finds that there is a reasonable doubt to indicate that the safety of the aeronautical product is compromised because of an unsafe condition developed in the aeronautical product, AEROCIVIL may cancel the letter of TC Acceptance.
