FAA Type Certificate Data Sheet E00063EN Rev 8 Dear Sir, According to your application for the acceptance of FAA Type Certificate No. E00063EN, the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (UAEAC) considering that “GE Aviation” has submitted the requested documents which were evaluated under Colombian Civil Aviation Regulations (RAC 21.156), welcomes the GE CF34-8C1/- 8C5/-8C5A1/-8C5B1/-8C5A2/-8C5A3; CF34-8E2/-8E2A1/-8E5/-8E5A1/-8E5A2/-8E6/- 8E6A1 turbofan engine models to operate in Colombia. “GE Aviation” shall keep updated the continued airworthiness documents required to guarantee the engines proper operation in accordance with the recommendations of the State of Design. Any change of the information above mentioned must be reported and documented to the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority. Concerning to the Post Type Validation procedure, the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority will accept the FAA findings for all post-Type Validation changes to the Type Design (including design change approvals, Airworthiness Limitations (AWL) approvals, Service Bulletin (SB) approvals, Continuing Airworthiness). In addition, FAA as State of Design, for the GE CF34-8C1/-8C5/-8C5A1/-8C5B1/-8C5A2/-8C5A3; CF34- 8E2/-8E2A1/-8E5/-8E5A1/-8E5A2/-8E6/-8E6A1 turbofan engine models, shall have overall responsibilities for Continued Airworthiness.
