(AASI) Aircraft Payload Extender STOL System, in accordance with AASI Master Drawing List No. AA1977, Revision J, dated July 22, 2016, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision, and installed in accordance with AASI Installation and Maintenance Manual (ICA) No. AA1976, revision J, dated March 16, 2016, or later FAA-approved revision. The Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (Aerocivil) accepts the foreign Supplemental Type Certificate No. SA01805SE, for major alteration application on Colombian registered aeronautical products, in accordance with the following limitation stated in the FAA Supplemental Type Certificate: “Fabrication of STC products is limited to STC holder.” As substantiated by AeroAcoustics Aircraft Systems, Inc. the following is the list of required documents that must accompany each modification on Colombian registered aeronautical products as required by RAC43 § 43.300(b): 1. Installation and Maintenance Manual (ICA) No. AA1976, revision M, dated October 21, 2019, or later FAA-approved revision. 2. Pilot’s Operation Handbook and Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement for Cessna Caravan 208B (675SHP) Landplane Series Equipped with AeroAcoustics Aircraft Systems Aircraft Payload Extender STOL System, revision J, dated January 23, 2023, or later FAA-approved revision / Pilot’s Operation Handbook and Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement for Cessna Caravan 208B EX Landplane Series Equipped with AeroAcoustics Aircraft Systems Aircraft Payload Extender STOL System, revision A, dated September 04, 2014, or later FAA-approved revision. As applicable. 3. A letter of authorization of use of the STC signed by the appropriate person in the STC holder organization identifying A/C tail number and S/N. The aeronautical product to be altered must be listed in the Supplemental Type Certificate. The STC SA01805SE will be entered in the national index of accepted STCs. Please bear in mind that this acceptance is issued to the STC and its supporting technical data and does not constitute an approval for the product (or products part of the STC) to be imported, is the responsibility of the installer to comply with the requirements set forth in Chapter L of RAC 21, for the product (or products) being imported. In addition, please consider that your company is responsible to keep this STC information (The alterations’ published documents) updated to guarantee safe operation and support the continued airworthiness of the altered aircraft registered in Colombia. Any major change of the STC information must be reported and documented to the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL). This letter revokes letter reference # 2023240040035505 Id: 1178005 as issued on November 8/2023, and is valid until the Supplemental Type Certificate approval ceases to exist. If at any point in time, the AEROCIVIL finds that there is a reasonable doubt to indicate that the safety of the aeronautical product is compromised because of an unsafe condition developed in the altered aeronautical product, AEROCIVIL may cancel the letter of STC Acceptance.
