The Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL) accepts the foreign Supplemental Type Certificate No. STC ST02002WI, for major alteration application on Colombian registered aeronautical products, in accordance with airworthiness limitations and conditions stated in the FAA Supplemental Type Certificate. As substantiated by Collins Aerospace the following is the list of required documents that must accompany each installation on Colombian registered aeronautical products as required by RAC43 § 43.300(b): P/N Rev. Document. RCA-0696 Original or later AML STC Appoved Model List RCB-2002 B or later Installation Instructions LRA-900 Radio Altimeter Update RCB-9369 Original or later Instructions for Continued Airworthiness LRA-900 Low Range Radio Altimeter upgrade for immunity to 5G interference. Please bear in mind that this acceptance is issued to the STC and its supporting technical data and does not constitute an approval for the product (or products part of the STC) to be imported, is the responsibility of the installer to comply with the requirements set forth in RAC 21.1200 for the product (or products) being imported. In addition, please consider that your company is responsible to keep this STC information (The alterations’ published documents) updated to guarantee safe operation and support the continued airworthiness of the altered aircraft registered in Colombia. Any major change of the STC information must be reported and documented to the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL). The validity of this letter of acceptance expires when the Supplemental Type Certificate approval ceases to exist. If at any point in time, the AEROCIVIL finds that there is a reasonable doubt to indicate that the safety of the aeronautical product is compromised because of an unsafe condition developed in the altered aeronautical product, AEROCIVIL may cancel the letter of STC Acceptance.
