Considering that Garmin has submitted the associated technical documentation, which was reviewed and evaluated under Colombian Civil Aviation Regulations (RAC 21, § 21.515), the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL) accepts the foreign Supplemental Type Certificate No. SA02571SE, for major alteration application on AERONÁUTICA CIVIL DE COLOMBIA Av. As substantiated by GARMIN INTERNATIONAL the following is the list of required documents that must accompany each installation on Colombian registered aeronautical products as required by RAC43 § 43.300(b): 1. STC SA02571SE Installation of Garmin G500/G600 TXi integrated Avionics System (Primary Flight Display, Multi-Function Display, and Engine Indication system Display) Issued November 17/2017, amended 25/01/2023. 2. Master Drawing List (MDL) # 005-00795-C2 Rev. 26, dated 01/25/23 or later FAA approved revision. 3. Installation Manual 190-01717-B3 Rev 20 dated 01/25/23, Installation Manual Addendum Pilatus PC-12 PN 190-01717-B5 Rev. 5 dated 1/25/23 and Installation Manual Addendum Piper PA-46-500TP PN 190-01717-B6 Rev. 2 dated 5/16/22 or later approved FAA revisions, as applicable. 4. Garmin STC Maintenance Manual (Contains Instructions for Continued Airworthiness) 190-01717-B1 Rev. 8 dated 01/25/23 or later approved FAA revisions. 5. Garmin Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) 190-01717-B2 Revision 8, dated 25-Jan-2023 or later approved FAA revisions 6. A letter of authorization of use of the STC signed by the appropriate person in the STC holder organization identifying A/C tail number and S/N. The aeronautical products to be altered must be listed in the respective FAA Approved Model List (AML) of this STC. The STC SA02571SE will be entered in the national index of accepted STCs. Note: Please be informed that the Approved Model List -AML, may include aircraft models whose TCs have not been validated in Colombia. Please bear in mind that this acceptance is issued to the STC and its supporting technical data and does not constitute an approval for the product (or products part of the STC) to be imported, since it is the responsibility of the installer to comply with the requirements set forth in RAC 21.1200 for the product (or products) being imported. In addition, please consider that your company is responsible to keep this STC information (The alterations’ published documents) updated to guarantee safe operation and support the continued airworthiness of the altered aircraft registered in Colombia. Any major change of the STC information must be reported and documented to the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL). AERONÁUTICA CIVIL DE COLOMBIA Av. If at any point in time, the AEROCIVIL finds that there is a reasonable doubt to indicate that the safety of the aeronautical product is compromised because of an unsafe condition developed in the altered aeronautical product, AEROCIVIL may cancel the letter of STC Acceptance.
