Replacing the current Garmin G1000-based avionics architecture with the Garmin G2000 avionics architecture that includes upgrades to touchscreen controllers (GTC 585), wide- format display units (GDU 1x50W) for both Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MFD) and a remote mounted audio system (GMA 36B). 2. An approved configuration of the SR2X that does not include a wet compass and the compass calibration card. For aircraft equipped with dual, independently powered sources of magnetic heading and its indication. 3. A lithium-ion engine start battery (BAT 1) has been added as an alternate configuration to the existing type design lead-acid start battery configuration. The bolster switch panel is reconfigured, the keyed ignition switch is replaced by a backlit engine start panel that contains a four-position rotary switch to control the ignition system (OFF – R – L – BOTH), and an integrated momentary pushbutton switch to engage the starter, relocation of the USB ports, elimination of the Avionics electrical bus, elimination of mechanical timers, and updates to the exterior and interior lighting installations. 4. Interior - Updated and modernized styling throughout. Updated look and feel of ECS panel and other controls to fit with the new styling. 5. Engine start panel update. 6. Fuel System- Automatic Fuel Selection System (AFSS). 7. Engine cowls changing – from fiberglass to carbon. 8. CAPS design update. The validity of this letter of acceptance of the major change update expires when the Type Certificate approval ceases to exist. If at any point of time, the AEROCIVIL finds that there is a reasonable doubt to indicate that the safety of the aeronautical product is compromised because of an unsafe condition developed in the aeronautical product, AEROCIVIL may cancel the letter of TC Acceptance.
