The Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL) accepts the foreign Supplemental Type Certificate No. SA11222DS, for major alteration application on Colombian registered aeronautical products, in accordance with airworthiness limitations and conditions stated in the FAA Supplemental Type Certificate. The aeronautical product must be listed in the respective FAA Approved Model List (AML) of this STC. The STC SA11222DS, will be entered in the national index of accepted STC. It is important to mention that a copy of the STC and the following required documents should accompany each installation (RAC 43, § 43.300 (b)): 1. FAA Approved Model List (AML) – STC Number SA11222DS, Rev B, May 19, 2020.(or later FAA approved revision). 2. Weight & Balance Addendum Rep No. 583-00-0050 Rev. E dated Aug 29,2019.(or later FAA approved revision). 3. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Doc No. 583-00-0048 REV D 4/14/2020. (or later FAA approved revision). 4. In addition, please consider that your company is responsible to keep this STC information (The alterations’ published documents) updated to guarantee safe operation and support the continued airworthiness of the altered aircraft registered in Colombia. Any major change of the STC information must be reported and documented to the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL). The validity of this letter of acceptance expires when the Supplemental Type Certificate approval ceases to exist. If at any point of time, the AEROCIVIL finds that there is a reasonable doubt to indicate that the safety of the aeronautical product is compromised because of an unsafe condition developed in the aeronautical product, AEROCIVIL may cancel the letter of STC Acceptance.
